Appeal over Locarno fire
OLD TOWN: A sharp-eyed passerby managed to prevent any serious damage to the Locarno by alerting fire crews to smoke coming from the building at 11.30am on Wednesday.
One crew from Swindon attended and used water jets to put the fires, which were situated on the first and second floors, out. Police were alerted and anyone with any information should contact Wiltshire Police on 101.
