Ridgeway event
THE Friends of Ridgeway will again be hosting The Ridgeway Day, on May 10 at the Court Hill Centre, near Wantage in Oxfordshire.
The aim of the day is to celebrate The Ridgeway and explain to people what activities it has to offer. Throughout the day there will be hosted walks to nearby landmarks.
Anyone who has an interest in the Ridgeway or lives close to it is invited to come along for the day, which will also include music and a host of family entertainment.
The Friends of Ridgeway is a local charity which aims to preserve the ancient track, which also runs near to Swindon, and encourage its use.
