WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses following a knifepoint robbery in Swindon.
The incident took place at approximately 9.10pm on Sunday, May 11 at the Co-op store, Moredon Road, Swindon.
The suspect entered the store and jumped over the till brandishing a knife towards staff.
He then made demands for money before taking the whole money drawer from a till containing approximately £600 before running from the store.
A member of the public gave chase to the suspect down Church Walk South and then through the adjoining alleyways until he lost sight on Cheney Manor Road.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his late twenties, wearing a black jacket, fawn/yellow trousers and blue and white trainers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Wiltshire Police immediately on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
Police have linked this case to the raid carried out at McDonald's on Great Western Way in the early hours of last Friday morning.
