WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for witnesses following a road rage assault in Swindon.
The incident took place on September 6 between 1.25pm and 1.40pm on Bridge End Road.
A male cyclist was riding down the road when he was rammed off the road by a silver Vauxhall Astra Estate.
This caused the cyclist to fall from his bike.
The driver of the vehicle then parked up further along the road and got out of his car.
He then challenged the cyclist who attempted to cycle away from the male.
The suspect then grabbed the cyclist and pulled him off his bike and threatened to assault him before returning to his vehicle and driving away.
The victim was left with internal bruising and ligament damage to his arms as a result of this incident.
The suspect is described as a white male aged in his mid-50's, with white hair under a khaki baseball cap. He was also wearing a green jumper.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Jon Brunt at the Crime Investigation Unit on 101 ext. 77437533 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
