Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after two women were attacked on a bus in Swindon.
The incident took place at about 2.50pm on Thursday, November 6, on Rodbourne Road.
The women were travelling on the Thamesdown number 13/14 bus when they were assaulted by a man who hit both of them across the head with a shopping bag containing boxes.
He then got off the bus in Rodbourne Road.
Police say the women were not injured.
The man is described as being in his 60s with grey hair and a grey beard.
He was wearing a high-visibility jacket with light red trousers and carrying several shopping bags that were white and red.
