Commercial vans were targeted in a series of break-ins around Rodbourne and Cheney Manor in recent weeks.
Thieves have broken into work vans to lift power tools and police are warning van owners to be vigilant and ensure their vehicles are locked at all times.
PCSO Beth Norman said: “Over the past few weeks we have noticed that there have been a number of reported vehicle breaks in the area of Rodbourne and Ferndale.
“The thefts or attempt thefts are mainly from work vans and the items that are being reported stolen are drills or power tools. Please can you ensure if you are a van owner that your tools are not kept in your van overnight.”
Anyone with information about the thefts should contact Wiltshire Police via 101.
