THE woman who died on Good Friday despite the much-praised efforts of a chip shop owner to revive her has been named as Hayley Johnson, 31, of Marlowe Avenue.
Wiltshire Police say the death of Ms Johnson is not being treated as suspicious but would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard from her during the days leading up to her death.
Her next of kin have been informed and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
A wave of heartfelt messages appeared on Facebook in response to Ms Johnson's death, including one from her sister.
A man who had shared the flat with her that day had run over to Khan’s Takeaway nearby.
Owner Amir Khan, 47, rushed to the flat where he found Ms Johnson dead in the bathroom.
Her sister, Gemma, said on Facebook: “Thank you, Mr Khan, for trying your best to save my sister. XXXX.”
Anyone with information should call DC Adam Leakey on 101.
