STUDENTS at New College Swindon have been celebrating a successful year on the College @ 14 programme at their first ever prom.
The red carpet was rolled out and many proud parents watched their children, aged between 14 and 16, arrive in style and enjoy a night with their friends.
And the prom goers enjoyed a photo booth, candy stall and disco.
The students created their own prom committee and helped organise music, food, decoration and photography.
The bespoke College @ 14 programme helps young people gain more confidence, learn valuable skills and meet new people in a mature learning environment.
Each student’s achievements were commemorated at the prom with a certificate ceremony.
The College @ 14 study programme builds on students’ prior learning and interests, with a range of A-levels, BTECs, GCSEs, short courses and courses within the Academy of Music and Sound available.
