TWO thefts of alcohol from supermarkets are being investigated by police.
The first incident happened at Waitrose in Mill Lane on Monday, June 27, while the second happened at the Co-op in Old Town on Tuesday, June 28.
In both cases a man took bottles of alcohol, including whisky, gin and brandy, from the premises without attempting to pay for them.
PC Jamie Brown said: "We would like to speak to the man shown in a CCTV image in relation to these incidents.
"Please contact me if you can help identify him or if you have any information which can help with our investigation."
