WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his bank card snatched from him in Swindon town centre.
The incident happened sometime between 10pm on Thursday, September 1 and 1am the following morning when a man on a grey mountain bike approached the victim and engaged him in a conversation. Sometime during this conversation the man produced his bank card which was then snatched.
The suspect is described as being a black man aged between 19 and 21, he was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans.
A photograph of a man police would like to speak to in relation to this incident has also been released.
PC Dan Lane said: "Swindon town centre is relatively busy, even at this time of night, someone should have witnessed something suspicious or someone acting suspiciously.
"Also, if anyone recognises the man in the CCTV image or can help with our enquiries, please contact me."
