A 69-YEAR-OLD woman had her purse snatched by a man on a mountain bike.
The thief struck as the woman walked between Newburgh Place and Quarry Crescent in Highworth at about noon yesterday (THUR).
The man grabbed the purse from the victim's bag as he cycled past and made off in the direction of the town centre.
He is white, in his 20s and was wearing a baseball cap, jeans and a light coloured top.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone in the area who has private CCTV and may have picked up the offender on their cameras.
