NOBODY will be surprised that Swindon has been assessed as a thoroughly typical English town in an official survey.
Nor will anybody be surprised that we lag somewhat behind only when it comes to teenage pregnancy problems and aspects of education.
These are, after all, areas in which we have suffered demonstrable and shameful underfunding for years.
