A CAR hit a brick wall near Aldbourne this morning after aquaplaning on water.
Ramsbury and Swindon firefighters were called to the scene of the crash on the B4192 just before 6am. The driver was not injured.
And a car left the A4361 near Winterbourne Bassett overnight after hitting flood water near police warning signs.
Between Thursday morning and yesterday at 6pm parts of Wiltshire have had three inches of rainfall - the usual average for the whole month.
Geoff Witts, who records rainfall for Wiltshire Council at his west Wiltshire home, said: "From 9am yesterday morning until 6pm we had 15.1mm (0.59ins) of rain.
"The previous 24 hours saw 22.8mm (0.89ins) and from 9am on November 17 we have had a total of 77mm (3ins), which equals the average for the whole month.
"The total for November up to 6pm yesterday evening was 105mm (4.1ins), making this currently the wettest month of the year however the four preceding months from July to October were all drier than average."
Trains to and from Devon are affected by washouts of track and ballast because of the weather.

"Rail passengers are advised not to travel into and out of Devon and Cornwall on Tuesday, November 22."
