A MAN who is accused of making a sexual communication with a child is to face trial by judge and jury.
Jason Oldacre is said to have intentionally contacted the boy, who was under the age of 16, between Tuesday, May 16, and Saturday, May 20.
And the 46-year-old is said to have also been in breach of a sexual harm prevention order imposed in November 2015 by contacting the lad.
He is also accused of sending an electronic communication of an indecent nature with intent to cause distress or anxiety on Tuesday, April 25, and the following day he is said to have assaulted a woman by beating.
Oldacre, of Culvery Court, pleaded not guilty to all four charges when he appeared before Swindon Crown Court by videolink from prison.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to Monday, November 20, and remanded him in custody until then.
