Police are appealing for information to help identify a man in relation to the theft of eight blocks of cheese and an assault on a shop worker.
The man entered the Co-op on Cricklade Road, at the Ferndale Road/Chapel Street at around 10pm on August 8.
He took eight blocks of cheese, then went to leave the shop without paying for them.
When a member of staff confronted the suspect, he was punched.
The shop assistant was shaken by the incident, but not seriously injured.
