A man who is accused of administering a noxious substance to a woman with intent is to face trial by judge and jury.
Daniel Davies is said to have assaulted the woman and threatened a destroy a caravan during the alleged incident, which involved the use of petrol, on Friday August 11.
The 36-year-old of Florence Street, pleaded not guilty to all three charges when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court by video link from prison.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to Monday December 18 and remanded him in custody until then.
