WELLBEING and spirituality were at the forefront of everyone’s minds on Saturday as the Western Community Centre was transformed into a festival of reflexology, reiki, meditation and more.

Visitors enjoyed a range of activities and treatments, experienced the thrill of virtual reality, and browsed a fantastic selection of handmade crafts.

Any money raised went to support two local charities - the Loganberry Trust and Blue Cross Burford.

The former was established by inspirational fundraiser Kevin Logan who, having been diagnosed with cancer, used his last months to set up a charity delivering free prostate screenings across the region. Kevin sadly died in December, aged just 57.

Saturday’s event was organised by his daughter, Jo Bellman, and her mother, Donna Nicholson.

Donna said: “We wanted to bring people together so we can all share our talents and love for each other. It’s been a steady turn out during the day and we’re really pleased. Everyone has been enjoying themselves.”

Jo added: “We want to say a massive thank you to everyone for being a part of such a wonderful day, we really appreciate all the support, help and cake making. We hope everyone had a brilliant day.”
