A PAIR of teenagers who had been accused of carrying out a serious assault in Walcot have had the charges against them dropped.
Jordan Betterton and Billy Livingstone, both 18, both denied causing grievous bodily harm with intent on Wednesday August 16.
And Livingstone also pleaded not guilty to having a bladed article on Bideford Close on the same day.
But after reviewing the evidence prosecutors dropped the case and Judge Tim Mousley QC, sitting at Swindon Crown Court, entered formal not guilty verdicts on Betterton, of Bowleymead, Eldene, and Livingstone, of Marlowe Avenue.
