Singer/songwriter Ross Wilson has won a huge fan base for his band, Blue Rose Code, including Hollywood A-lister Ewan McGregor.
The actor was given a copy of their album, The Ballads of Peckham Rye, by his uncle Denis Lawson, star of Local Hero, and Ewan says he hasn’t been able to stop listening it.
The album was nominated for the prestigious Scottish Album Of The Year Awards in 2014 and featured musicians such as Danny Thompson, Karine Polwart, John Wetton, Aidan O’Rourke and Kathryn Williams.
Blue Rose Code will be bringing their Celtic folk rock to The Old Stables, High Street, Cricklade tonight Thursday, December 14 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £9.50 from 01793 295164. Blue Rose Code will be supported from Jamie R Hawkins.
