Santa stopped off at Liden library on Thursday to spread some festive cheer.
Over 30 youngsters gathered at the Barrington Close library where they were able to get some tips from the main man himself .
The event was organised by the Swindon Community Library Trust which took over the running of Liden Library and Covingham Library earlier this year.
Dale Heenan, chairman of Swindon Community Library Trustees, said: “It was great for Father Christmas to take an hour out of his busy schedule to meet with over 30 children and their families at Liden Library, and help them write their Christmas wish list letters.
“A bonus was for Swindon 105.5 radio station to record many of the children reading their letters.
“This is the first event for the Library Trust in Liden, and the volunteers and helpers have done a tremendous job. Roll on 2018 and our plans to improve our community libraries and new longer opening hours.”
