AN INDEPENDENT opticians in Royal Wootton Bassett has beaten stiff competition to take an industry-leading title.
The Haine and Smith branch in the High Street has been heralded as the top performing practice of 2017.
The town branch was named the top performer during the company’s annual awards presented to members of staff considered to have made an outstanding contribution to the success of the firm over the past year.
Haine and Smith has branches throughout Wiltshire, but Royal Wootton Bassett came out on top during the prestigious awards.
General manager Gary Walters said: “Royal Wootton Bassett are quite rightly ‘in the pink’ as they won this award for outstanding and consistent performance over a long period. High standards of patient care and satisfaction were achieved in all areas.”
There were also awards for top optical adviser of the year, top employee of the year, and a special award was presented to training manager of Haine and Smith, Zoie Izatt for being a key player and putting in extra hours.
