CONIC boxer and celebrity Frank Bruno MBE will be the star at an evening of conversation at the Wyvern Theatre on Monday.
The event, titled Let Me Be Frank, will be hosted by well known comedian and entertainer Jed Stone, giving Frank the opportunity to talk about his boxing career and his recent book, from starting out in the business to becoming one of Britain’s best loved sports personalities.
Since hanging up his gloves, Frank has become a popular entertainer and performed in numerous pantomines, as well as appearing on our screens in personal interviews and after dinner speaking.
His well-documented illness put Frank in the public eye and he used this media attention to challenge the stigma attached to mental health problems and help raise the standards of care given to those suffering with mental health issues
The evening offers an insight into his life with frank conversation and his characteristic light-hearted humour. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £32.
Tickets to attend the meet and greet before the show, from 6pm, are £35, including a copy of his book. To book, call 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
