POLICE officers cycling the equivalent of Lands End to John O'Groats have reached Birmingham.
Staff at Wiltshire Police are spending the week pedalling exercise bikes at the force's Devizes HQ.
The fundraising bid will raise cash for mental health charities Mind and the Mental Health Foundation.
Emily Clark, 26, a personal assistant working at the force's Devizes headquarters, hopes to cycle 879 miles by Friday. She's already cycled around 400 miles.
She said earlier today: "I suffer with bi-polar disorder. I felt it was time for me to give something back to the support services I've had over the last five years. I hate cycling. If it was something easy I don't think it would be worthy of sponsorship. Because I don't like cycling, I'm not a born cyclist, I hate cardio, I figured I'd challenge myself, make myself work hard and it would be worth it."
She estimates over £900 has been raised so far.
