SUN-LOVERS should soak up the last of the rays, before thunderstorms strike on Monday.
Temperatures will hit 20C today, as Swindon enjoys day-long sun.
But forecasters predict the weather will take a turn for the worse tomorrow. Thunderstorms will arrive in Swindon at around midday on Monday, according to the Met Office. And rain will continue into the evening.
Good morning! After early mist clears most parts of England and Wales will have another fine, warm day with plenty of sunshine, although east coasts may see further sea fog. Breezy and cooler in the northwest with cloud and outbreaks of rain. https://t.co/hQmWS6xFNb ^Kayleigh pic.twitter.com/K0cPChbQe1

The rest of the week should be hot, with sunny spells and some showers. Happily, Swindon is forecast a full day of sun next Saturday, with highs of 20C.
Yesterday, Swindon enjoyed a full day of blue skies and sun. While many enjoyed the royal wedding and FA Cup Final, others were left disappointed as the Splash Park at Coate Water remained shut. Swindon Volunteer Rangers apologised: “Sorry, the Splash Park was not able to open today due to mechanical problems. We will keep you posted.”
