A GIRL from Swindon got the shock of her life after tweeting that she’d get a tattoo of John Stones if he scored against Panama.
Jess, a student of Kingsdown School, had no idea England footballers John Stones and Kyle Walker would hold her to her pledge following the national team’s 6-1 victory on Sunday.
John Stones struck twice against Panama and offered his commiserations to Jess on Twitter, who is yet to say whether she will get the tattoo. Fellow England defender Kyle Walker also said he'd pay for the tattoo in his reply to the young Manchester City fan.
Hope it (they?) don’t hurt too much! #threelions pic.twitter.com/CLIj3eNrBt

Jess temporarily deactivated her Twitter account after the story blew up on social media. Some users joked that Stones’ two goals should be honoured by two tattoos rather than one.
Jess said in her original tweet: “If John scores I’ll get a tattoo of him.”
Kyle Walker then racked up 80,000 likes when he replied, “I’ll pay”. A video of John Stones later appeared on the England football team’s Twitter account in which he said. “Unlucky Jess, but thanks for your support.”
