TEENS have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap.
A police helicopter joined the search above Eldene on Monday afternoon, as armed officers hunted for the suspects. A teenager believed to be the victim of the kidnap has been found safe and well.
A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called shortly before 2pm to a suspicious incident at Greenbridge Retail Park in Swindon.
“A 19-year-old man from Swindon has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and affray and two 15-year-olds from Swindon have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap. They are all currently in police custody.
“At this stage we do not believe that anyone has been injured, but our enquiries are ongoing.”
The force said the Eldene incident was not related to the massive police operation following the murder of Amesbury Novichok victim Dawn Sturgess and the poisoning of her partner Charlie Rowley.
