A JACK Russell had to be rescued from a caravan park ditch by firefighters.
The Royal Wootton Bassett crew was called to the caravan park at Bradenstoke Abbey, near Lyneham, shortly after 10pm on Wednesday night.
A small dog had fallen around seven foot into a ditch and was unable to get out.
A spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews used a triple extension ladder and lighting to rescue the dog and advised the owner to take the dog to the vets as a precautionary measure.”
