TELEVISION cameras will descend on the Ashton Keynes Flowers and Produce Show next month.

But it's not the blooming plants or the tasty veg that has attracted the crew from Sky channel Living TV.

Instead the cameras will be there following Jackie Llewelyn-Bowen, the wife of Changing Rooms star Laurence, as she presents the prizes.

The Llewelyn-Bowens, who recently moved to the village of Siddington, are starring in a show about life in the country.

Colette Pratten wrote to the telly star's wife asking her to go to the show.

"I had a meeting with the film people yesterday," she said.

"The programme's all about moving to the country and all the various activities here and they agreed to come along to the show and film that.

"I wrote and asked if she would be interested and apparently she is a very keen gardener.

"I think she's quite interested to find out more about what we do."

The Ashton Keynes WI, which puts on the yearly show, has just under 50 members.

There are 49 classes in the show, including flower arranging, cooking, handicrafts and a children's section and once the judges have made their decisions it will be up to Jackie to hand out the awards.

"I think everyone's quite excited," Colette added.

"The produce show is something we do for the village and this is a bit more of a draw."

Laurence and Jackie met at a mutual friend's party in 1985 when she was 20 and he 19.

Both were home on their winter vacations - she from studying French at Manchester University and he from Camberwell School of Art in South London.

They have been together ever since and were married in 1989.

They have two daughters, Cecile and Hermione.

Jackie used to run her own successful company as a professional wedding organiser.

She is the author of Debrett's Wedding Guide and an expert on the history of weddings.

The Ashton Keynes Flower and Produce Show is on September 15 at the village hall.
