QUEEN'S Drive could go down to 30mph as the council overhauls a pedestrian crossing near the Magic Roundabout.
Swindon Borough Council wants to scrap the current 40mph limit on the stretch of road between the Magic Roundabout and the ambulance station.
The proposals, which are currently out for consultation, form part of works to remodel the pedestrian crossing on Queen's Drive, opposite the post office.
People have until September 7 to comment on the plans, which are available to view at Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, or online at: www.swindon.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders.
