Rick Wakeman takes his own UK Odyssey this autumn performing compositions which are personal or special to him.
Last year his Piano Portrait tour was a huge success so Rick is back on the road with his new show. Rick says: “In the footsteps of Piano Portraits, the new album Piano Odyssey features a collection of music old and new that includes some particular favourites of mine. I’m looking forward to performing tracks from it live on my own odyssey around the UK in the autumn!”
Rick was keyboard player with The Strawbs but is best known for his own prog rock outfit Yes. Piano Odyssey drops in tonight to the City Hall, Malthouse Lane, Salisbury. Rick’s own personal musical journey will include his memories and anecdotes about the tunes, plus there will be a few musical surprises. Tickets are £37 and £31.50 inclusive of £2 booking fee from 01722 434434 tickets@wiltshire.gov.uk
