COURT: Magistrates ordered Daniel Piper to pay £100 compensation to a woman he racially abused.
The 43-year-old of Whitehead Street admitted using racially aggravated threatening behaviour towards the victim in an incident on July 7.
The Swindon bench also fined him £120 and added a £30 surcharge to help fund victim services.
COURT: A man who denied assaulting a woman and then changed his plea to guilty has been told he must pay her £300 compensation.
Mark Williams, 31, of Estella Close, Haydon End, was made the subject of a 12-month community order and told to do 100 hours of unpaid work.
Swindon magistrates heard he was in breach of a non-molestation order when he contacted the victim and then assaulted her on May 20. They imposed a restraining order banning him from having any contact with her except through the court.
