NINE people in Swindon won hundreds of pounds each in the People's Postcode Lottery.
Residents on Stonybeck Close woke up on Tuesday to find that their bank accounts had been boosted by £1,000 for each lottery ticket they held.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “It’s a truly terrific Tuesday for our players in Swindon.
"I couldn’t be more thrilled for them and hope they enjoy treating themselves with the windfall.
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities.
Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £350 million to date for 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A number of local causes have benefitted from the money raised, and the next opportunity to apply for funding will be in January.
