POLICE have arrested three people following reports of a disorder in Penhill this afternoon.
In a statement the Wiltshire force said: "We were called at around 4pm and, due to the nature of the concerns from the public, officers, including armed officers and dog unit, responded and carried out searches of the area.
"Three males, aged 16, 17 and 20, have been arrested on suspicion of affray"
They were taken to the custody suite at Gablecross Police Station.
One man was found with minor cuts to his arm and leg, but did not require medical treatment.
Sgt Richard Fay, from Swindon North community policing team, said: “We want to reassure the public that we responded to this incident swiftly and now have three people in custody.
“You may see an increased police presence in the Penhill area this evening, but please do not be alarmed. These officers will mainly be there to provide reassurance to the community."
