FISHING gear worth hundreds of pounds has been stolen from a property in Gorse Hill - again.

On August 2, thieves broke into an avid angler's garage behind his Beatrice Street home and stole fishing equipment worth £7,000.

Around 11pm on Wednesday October 21, offenders broke into the garage again and stole fishing gear worth £300.

Police have released pictures of some items stolen in the burglary.

PC Jo Field said: "We'd like to speak to anyone who may know about this latest break-in and we'd be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen these items for sale.

"Perhaps you have been offered such equipment for a price which seems too good to be true.

"If you can help in any way, please contact me."
