PEOPLE have turned out in their thousands this morning to pay their respects to the country's war dead.
Parades have been held in Swindon and the surrounding area marking the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, 100 years after the guns fell silent and the First World War ended.
A service of remembrance will also be held at 2pm this afternoon at the Radnor Street cemetery, where 86 casualties from the First World War and 14 from the second are buried.
Check back with us for more coverage of today's remembrance events.
