A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court yesterday (November 15) in connection with an armed robbery at Aldbourne Post Office on Wednesday (November 14) afternoon.
Matthew Stepp, aged 37, of no fixed address, Swindon, appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court charged with robbery, threatening a person with a blade in a public place, and possession of a class A drug.
He has been remanded in custody again and is next due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on 14 December.
