A PHOTOGRAPHY exhibition in the Orbital Shopping Park has raised £1,700 for the Brighter Futures Radiotherapy Appeal.

Local photographer Robin Allix-Page organised the exhibition which showcased photos of landmarks from across Swindon for the public to buy.

The appeal is close to Robin's heart, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016 and travelled daily to Oxford for treatment.

Jamie Turner, centre manager at Orbital Shopping Park, said: “We really admire Robin’s work and his fundraising efforts, so we were more than happy to offer our management suite to host the exhibition, and were delighted to be able to make a donation to the appeal on behalf of all of the team here too.”

Justin Tomlinson, MP for North Swindon, said: “It was an honour to officially open this fantastic display of wonderful photographs showing the very best of Swindon and the surrounding areas.

" Robin is a real talent and his story of what inspired him to raise money for the Brighter Futures appeal is incredibly moving and inspiring."
