HERE'S the latest traffic news from the roads in and around Swindon.
One lane closed and queueing traffic due to broken down vehicle on A419 Marlborough Road southbound at B4192 Purley Road, Commonhead Interchange). Lane two was closed following the breakdown at around 07.50am, then reopened at 9.10am.
Travelling along Cricklade Road, Beechcroft Road and Whitworth Road will take five minutes due to very slow traffic near the Moonrakers roundabouts.
The A419 Southbound at Junction 15 of the M5 is also at a crawl, with an expected travel time of five minutes.
There's heavy traffic on Whitehill Way heading out of town between the Tewkesbury Cross Roundabout and the Blagrove Roundabout. Travel time is six minutes.
Gipsy Lane, Bridge End Road, Mead Way, and the A3102 Swindon Road are all busy, but moving steadily.
Expect the usual congestion on the A346 and Queen's Drive, with travel along Great Western Way expected to take around five minutes.
