CHRISTMAS presents, jewellery and personal documents were stolen when a house in Queens Road, Hannington was burgled.
A large amount of property with a sentimental value was taken in the raid and police are appealing for the public to be on the look out for them. The haul included a silver chain necklace with amber pendant, amber earrings, a silver ring with turquoise stone and a set of men’s watches with leather straps.
PC Ben Parsons said: “Incidents like this are extremely upsetting for victims and some of the items stolen were of sentimental value. We are keen to locate them and return them to the victim."
Police wanted to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area between 6.15am and 8pm on December 15 when the break-in happened. Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
