COMMUTERS were faced with a burst water main on Frankland Road.
Thames Water said they were aware of the leak, which left water streaming across the road on the Blagrove industrial estate.
A Thames Water spokesman said: “We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by a burst to a 10-inch diameter pipe. Our engineers are now on site to carry out a repair and we aim to have the job completed as soon as possible.”

Workers said there was black ice on the road this morning, believed to have been caused by the burst pipe and cold temperatures overnight.
