A PUB assault left a man in his 50s needing hospital treatment.

Now, police have reissued an appeal for help in tracking down a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault.

The force said the attack happened in The Runner car park on Saturday, October 6 at around 11.15pm.

β€œIt left the victim needing hospital treatment,” a spokesman said.

Police initially issued an appeal for witnesses on October 15. The suspect was described as white, male, 6ft tall, of slim-medium build with dark slick black hair. He was wearing a grey flat cap, green jumper, white shirt and tight grey trousers. He had a local accent and it was believed his first name may be Gary.
