A FATHER-of-five has died in hospital three weeks after his car was involved in a crash with a cement lorry.
Andy Fulford, 47, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital five days before Christmas after the accident on the A36 north of Salisbury near the junction with Stoford and the Woodfords.
The Devizes man died in hospital on Thursday, January 10. He leaves behind a wife and five children.
A police spokesman said: "Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. His family are being supported by a specialist family liaison officer.
"The driver of the cement truck, a 21-year-old man from Salisbury, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, and is currently on bail while enquiries are carried out by the Serious Investigation Department.
"We continue to appeal for any witnesses.”
