The ELO Experience have been keeping the music of Jeff Lynne and The Electric Light Orchestra alive.
Tonight the band will be stopping off in Swindon at the Wyvern Theatre at 7.30pm, singing such songs as 10538 Overture, Evil Woman, Living Thing, Diary of Horace Wimp, Don’t Bring me Down and of course Mr Blue Sky.
The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970, by Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood, who went on to form Wizard, and drummer Bev Bevan. When Roy left in 1972, Jeff became the band’s leader, arranging and producing every album while writing virtually all of their original material. ELO had twenty Top 20 songs in the UK Singles Chart, and fifteen Top 20 songs on the US Billboard Hot 100.
