TWO PCSOs came up with a fun way to give out vehicle safety advice and encourage residents to spread the word.
Lee Hare and Kate Jackson presented a news broadcast on North Swindon Police's facebook page offering handy tips to help keep cars secure.
These included keeping car keys hidden at all times, ensuring that the vehicle is empty at all times, double-checking that the doors are locked, and not leaving anything valuable in the car.
The Orbital Shopping Centre's ASDA donated a fluffy unicorn toy for the team to give away at random to a facebook user who likes and shares their urgent breaking news broadcast.
The North Swindon village centres, Lady Lane, and the Orbital were suggested as places for the police to carry out antisocial behaviour cycle patrols and they are keen to hear more suggestions.
