CO-OPERATIVE will open its latest Swindon store tomorrow morning.
The new food shop at East Wichel comes a decade after the development’s homes first went on the market.
Midcounties Co-operative say they have ploughed £550,000 into the Staldon Court store and that it will create 15 new jobs.
Jeanette Timmins, store manager, said: “Our new store has a huge range of fantastic products as well as a really strong team, and we’re looking forward to meeting all our new customers.
“As a Co-operative, sustainability is a key focus for us and the new store has various eco-friendly credentials as well as a delicious range of products made locally, helping our customers to cut down their food miles and support businesses in their community.”
