A DRUG dealer caught with almost £3,000 in cash has been sentenced to more than five years in prison.
Tobiah Benjamin Rule, of Cusance Way, Hilperton, was stopped by police in 2017 where the cash was found in his BMW 1 series.
While on bail officers searched another vehicle he was driving, finding drugs, cash, and mobile phones.
HMRC statements showed he had no legitimate earnings since 2011, and was living off the proceeds of his criminal activities.
He was sentenced to five years and nine months at Swindon Crown Court after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs including MDMA, cocaine and cannabis, and money laundering.
PC Joe Shanklin, of the Dedicated Crime Team, said: "Rule has shown no respect for police or the courts, continuing to offend while due to appear in court for similar offences.
"Each time he has been arrested, a quantity of class A drugs have been located on him, in his vehicle or at his address."
