THOUGHT-provoking debates on polarised political discourse will be held at Salisbury Cathedral next month.
The debates, entitled Crossing Divides, will explore hate speech, how to live a good life, and how we should be governed.
Each one, held on March 6, 13, and 20, will be recorded in front of an audience at the cathedral and broadcast on BBC Wiltshire the following evening.
Historian Natalie Haynes and Nazir Afzal OBE, former chief crown prosecutor for North West England who brought the Rochdale Grooming gang to justice.
Dean of Salisbury Cathedral Nicholas Papadopulos, said: “The purpose of these events is to encourage us all to think about our future and how we can shape it. At a time when society is fragmented Salisbury Cathedral offers a safe space where difficult conversations can take place.
Tickets cost £7.50 and will be broadcast on the 7, 14 and 21 of March.
