The councillor in political control of housing and public safety for Swindon Borough Council will be in the spotlight on Monday.
Coun Cathy Martyn who holds the council's cabinet portfolio will appear at the authority's scrutiny committee meeting to give a report on her department's progress and to answer questions.
With homelessness in winter a high profile subject, Coun Martyn will talk about the council's seasonal homelessness provision, which began last winter and has been expanded this.
Her report says: "The benefits of the temporary winter housing provision have been clearly demonstrated with the majority of guests still maintaining their own tenancies and avoiding returning to the streets. The provision has therefore been recommissioned at a new location for the current winter. The new location has also been able to accommodate a new Day Centre for the homelessness."
