FAST food fans will be given a rare chance to step into KFC's kitchens and make their own fried chicken meal on March 30.

The chain is letting Swindon customers at the Designer Outlet branch go behind the counter to see how the cooks make such finger-lickin' chicken and try their hand at breading, frying, and creating their own burger.

Along with the burger, they'll get a piece of Original Recipe chicken, fries, a drink, a side, and an exclusive KFC apron and hat.

KFC UK and Ireland's chief operations officer Rob Swain said: "We’re really proud of the food we serve, and of all the care that goes into making our chicken taste as incredible as it does. We want to welcome everyone in to give them the chance to see what makes it so finger lickin’ good, and invite them to try keeping pace with our amazing team members. We can’t wait to show the nation how it’s done.”

Tickets for the KFC Open Kitchen cost £5 and are allocated on a first come first served basis - apply at kfc.seetickets.com All profits will go to the KFC Foundation, which supports local charities.
