The request for an opinion from planners at Swindon Borough Council on whether the authority's own plans for a temporary bus stationed an environmental impact assessment has been withdrawn.
The council made to requests for such opinions recently - one on the scheme to create a temporary bus station at the Princes Street car park, and one on its plans for a bus boulevard in Fleming Way.
The decision that the much more ambitious plans for the bus boulevard do not need an environmental impact assessment may have influences the decision to withdraw the application for an opinion on the temporary bus station.
The council plans to convert the car park bound by Princes Street, Gordon Road and Islington Street into a station for buses displaced by the work in Fleming Way.
More parking has been created at the levelled Wyvern car park.
